Seriously, how do people play with keyboard controls? I just claimed Biast, then lost him due to deagro cuz I can barely function at all without my controller. With controller, it's so easy to run, move camera, hit macros, and even type at the same time. I died to an EP on BLM yesterday because I can't do anything with keyboard...

On my laptop I use the compact keyboard setting. The WSAD keys for movement, and IKJL for camera. It keeps both my hands on the keyboard near the home row for typing, or quickly hitting macros with either hand. I've never played with a controller. It's all about what you're accustomed to I guess.

I just put my hands on the keyboard with that setup. OMG, I cannot see how you do it. I guess for me, I just can't rationalizing using 8 fingers to do with my two thumbs can do ))

Had no macros at the time, was using keyboard, Garms aren't sleepable, and bind+stoneskin+blink+phalanx wouldn't last long enough for me to log out in like 20 tries. I feel justified.

And yes, it's Garm... I'd never die to a Gorm..
