So get this.....

My friend over here is a computer genius and by passes the dorms firewall by using his own server that he set up. Well he couldnt get FFXI to work and he couldnt get WoW to work but get this. He hacked and coded his own WoW server. we have everything that normal WoW player have but there is only 5 people on this entier server. he has bots that place random items on the AH and buy items from us and eachother with an economic codeing to keep a normal economy going. its wicked sweet. ^^ so yeah im playn wow no lol but not once i get home cause i can only play for free on this server while i am in the vecinity of his router lol.

Yeah there are lots of private/pirated servers out there for WoW, my sister used to play on one with a cracked copy of the game lol.

There's something out there for FFXI too, check out http://www.projectxi.org/. Haven't tried it myself but it looks very cool.
